We will always respect your privacy, dignity, and religious or cultural beliefs. If an intimate examination is clinically advisable, it will only be carried out with your explicit consent. You will also be offered the option of having a chaperone present during the examination.

You may request a chaperone when booking your appointment, on arrival at the surgery (please inform the receptionist), or at any point during your consultation.

Our clinicians also reserve the right to request the presence of a chaperone for any consultation they feel appropriate. Please do not be concerned if a chaperone is present during your appointment, as this is standard practice to support the comfort, safety, and wellbeing of both patients and clinicians.
